Mark Kaiser St Mary's Church
Mark Kaiser was born in Worcestershire and has been painting and drawing since the age of three. He graduated from Suffolk University with a BA(Hons) in Design and Illustration and was immediately contacted by EMI Records to design an album cover for the band ‘Radiohead.’ He was later commissioned along with his twin brother Paul to produce a huge Renaissance-style painting on the alter wall of a church in Kidderminster. Other commissions have included a large painting of Newmarket Racecourse which has appeared on television and illustrating the Wine Society’s Autumn Wine List both leading to many private commissions. Mark lives in Warwick and paints from a busy studio filled with travel books and his style of painting has charmed collectors all over the world with his house portraits for private collectors being especially popular. He likes to entertain people with his art, to educate, and to recall memories of favourite destinations that people have been to. Marks main focus is on architecture, travel and colour. These three powerful emotive subjects have a way of attracting the viewer to take a closer look. There is a story to each piece, in essence he is a storyteller, only working in colour and form instead of the written word. “An important thing I’ve learned is to paint from the heart. Learn from the Masters but paint as yourself” he says.
