Looking Glass Design Warwick Candle Holder & Tea Light
With a personal connection to the well-known author Lewis Carroll, it is no surprise that Ali named her business “Looking Glass Designs.” She was named Alison after Alice in Wonderland, Alison being the modern version of Alice. When researching her family tree, she discovered that Lewis Carroll’s father, Charles Dodgson an Anglican cleric, and Archdeacon of Richmond, conducted the wedding of her Great x 4 grandparents in 1852. Her passion for all things Alice was inevitable! Ali has designed a range of local themed crafts featuring Warwick Castle and the peacocks of Warwick that are exclusive to Warwick Visitor Centre. Ali’s craft designs are usually formed by thinking outside the box. They are unique and quirky and made with recycled materials where possible. She designs and creates handmade crafts that are based on vintage inspired themes and the shimmery ‘glitter’ you see on her stationery is actually ‘heat embossing’ using a special powder and heat gun that creates a ‘raised’ effect. Glass candle holder 11cms tall with gold framed oval Peacock emblem. Tea-light included.
