David and Kristian Leask specialise in laser and rotary engraving wood, metal, slate and leather products to create pieces of art which are practical and unique. David is the Founder & Creative Lead who, together with Kristian created Fatlab Designs in Warwick, an artisan maker studio providing high quality, uniquely personalised gifts and one of a kind art pieces. With a background in fabrication engineering, manufacturing and IT, they combine traditional wood, metal, resin and leather manufacturing techniques with cutting-edge CAD/CAM and CNC manufacturing technologies to create unique custom pieces. Having started originally with 3d printing and Computer Aided Design services, they have expanded the business to offer rotary CNC wood carving and engraving and high quality laser engraving.
